Nic Waller’s passion for classic cars was inherited from his parents who shared with him the golden age of British motor racing. With a career rooted in graphic design and photography, Nic is passionate about the historic races of the 1950s and 1960s especially Le Mans. Having been involved with the international concours world for nearly 20 years he is especially interested in the style and design of automobiles.
After a career in publishing, Nic joined the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance in 2006 as a consultant and is a member of the Pebble Beach Concours Selection Committee as well as being the familiar voice of the Pebble Beach Concours award show. In England, he also started the Brooklands Double Twelve Motorsport Festival in 2008 and the Warren Classic Concours in 2013.
He is a consultant to Bonhams for both the European and American Motoring Departments and is still involved with motoring publishing as a consultant to Porter Press. He has been a Chief Class Judge at all three of the Chantilly Arts & Elegance Richard Mille concours in France and has recently judged at the inaugural 2016 Kyoto Concours in Japan.
